1. we started the week off right on monday morning with a church service for the Annunciation of the Theotokos. Theotokos is what we call the Virgin Mary in the Orthodox Church. Christmas is in NINE months y'all.
2. the boys each went to sleepovers, so hubby and i got to have a date night. it's always fun to have an uninterrupted conversation every now and then.
3. big man and one of his friend went to the movies and met up with some girl "friends". oh my momma heart. i have a lot of feelings about this subject maybe one of these days i will have them collected enough to write a post.
4. we had a whole family date night last night. family date night might just be my favorite night of the month. my momma is the best for thinking this business up. love her to pieces.
5. i hope you all have a wonderful easter weekend. we don't celebrate until may 5th. i know right. if your interested as to why you can read about it here (the pdf opens weird, make sure to scroll to page 1). in my opinion...the bottom line is, as long as we are all loving JESUS and honoring/acknowledging what he did for us to save us from our sins so that we can spend eternity with him...well that's all that really matters. not so much the day you celebrate.
