i don't know about you, but today is my favorite day of the year.
well, besides christmas and my birthday.
i feel like although the first day of fall was 9/22
today is the official start of the fall / holiday season.
in honor of this decided that today is the day that i will fallify my house.
here's what i'm thinking
those blossoms in the pitcher are beautiful.
i saw them at michaels the other day but was using my coupon for something else
so i'm going after them today.
you do this to right? or maybe i'm just a super cheapskate.
i may be unreasonably thinking about cutting a limb off of one of the birch tree in my front yard
just so i can stand the logs on my fireplace. ha.

i need a new wreath.
it has to have orange in it. my front door got a make over and with the orange it'll really pop.
there are so many possibilities.
do you have any big plans to kick off the fall / holiday season?
i want to take my boys apple picking. but i'm sure that them being the ages they are they will just think i'm super lame.
speaking of my boys, my oldest, a high school freshman, told me yesterday that i was a hipster.
my niece, a sophomore, told me the same thing the day before.
is that a compliment? or should i be offended? or is it just what it is?
