knock knock

*and a link or two*

yesterday, i was having a not so great day, when our doorbell rang .
i answered it.

it was our neighbor he has special needs. he says to me, hi kelly! i was doing yard work and thought of you (he then pulled the above flowers out from behind his back) these are for you. Oh melt my heart.
Then he says, will you be my valentine "as friends."

 of course i will.
hello.

all day long i was crying out to the Lord about my frumpiness.
two things:
one. i feel like he used our neighbor to show me that he is listening and he cares.
two. camellias are one of my favorite flowers. they remind me of my grandma. no one really knows that. but Christ knows. ;)

which brings me to this. bring everything to Christ my friends.
he wants all your worries and fears. Pray without ceasing.
he's always listening. sometimes i forget

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

New King James Version (NKJV)
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

i don't know about you, but i bend and mold songs i like to fit my life.
this song reminds me of Christ.
Listen.

happy thursday friends
it's almost friday

Beautiful. The flower, the story, and most of all, you!

we hardly know how many "little" ways that God tries to show us his love for us, but it is soooo GOOD when it is obvious! thanks for sharing!

when I saw this pic and story on your IG I had to re-read it to Brandon. I just loved it. So precious and innocent and the perfect reflection of God's love for us.
Love you Kelly---you are beautiful inside and out. for real.
