patience = waiting with a smile, which = having faith

why is patience always so hard?

patience = waiting with a smile. or not.

we are house hunting.
house hunting is not fun. it is in no way shape or form like the t.v. show house hunters. it's not glamorous or joyful. ha.

we found a house that we really liked and could see ourselves living in it. we put in an offer and a few counter offers on it and were slowly meeting the bank in the middle. the thing is we were compromising a lot of what we really wanted and settling. we came to this realization yesterday when the house was with in grasp. ugh. we withdrew our offer

i sort of wish that God would just drop the perfect house for our little family out of the sky so it would land right on top of me.  kind of like on the wizard of oz; only i wouldn't die. but it'd be there in all it's glory just for us.

today i have had enough of trying to control things. it's not like i was actually in control to begin with.
So this is me God reminding myself that you are the only one in control. today i'm giving you back the reigns that i've been pretending to hold. *because i'm lame*

trusting in your perfect timing. after all yours is the only timing that is PERFECT.

i am totally trusting in His timing too right now especially for him providing me a job since I am loosing mine at the end of the year. It is all about His timing because it is the best!

i remember house hunting...and how tricky it felt. i kept questioning myself like "what if we buy this one and it is a mistake and God wanted something else for us?" it drove me to pray thus..."Lord, if this is not the house for us, keep it from us! don't let us get it. help the deal to fall through! your will, not mine"

and...it did:) twice! now i know for sure this house that we bought was hand-picked for us!!

keep at it, it will happen!

Patience is so very difficult. Couple that with no worrying, in the process, and it's a recipe for....well.....difficulty.

This post really hits home- I am so used to being in control, it's always been hard for me to give it up/trust issues I guess. I find myself continuously having to give control back over to GOD- Going through some life things myself and I'm trusting in Him. You are right, He knows best and his timing is perfect!!
