yeah i miss y'all too!
so here's the haps around casa fly with me.
two sundays ago i went on a quest for Awesome Socks with my dudes.
we walked from one end of the mall to the other to find just the right color socks.
we went to 4 different stores 3 times each.
i honestly started to get really irritated with my lil' dudes.
but then i remembered that when i was their age my mom would go one quests with me to find just the right guess or esprit outfit. those quest would often end up out of town. our my favorite spot to end up was the esprit store on colorado street in pasadena.
and just so you know colorado street is 2 hours from home.
needless to say i got over it, and enjoyed the quest.
i needed a workout anyway.

they have an awesome design down the back.

yesterday was they day that my niece and i have been waiting for for what seems like
for-e-ver
(said in my best squints from the sandlot voice)
we went to the movies after church yesterday to see
i think i am 31 going on 13 here's why:
we HAD to show PEETA love!

i was pleasantly surprised that it was mostly adults (over 30...holla) watching the movie.
it was amazing. it stayed very true to the book.
obvs the book is better but i expected that.
we had a wonderful time.
i am super thankful to have a niece that is willing to nerd out as much as i am.

Wow, so you went to all 4 stores more than once?! Now that's dedication! I'd probably get sick of going back and forth! Haha!

Shopping is ALWAYS a quest to me. I get something in my head and that is the only thing I search for! Can't complain because it helps me to not impulse buy...I'm afraid to read Hunger Games, because a book series about people fighting for their life sounds sad. I can't afford extra sad in my life with the hubby deployed.
I LOVED watching the Hunger Games - I was so pleased with how they did it ;)
And about those socks... who knew boys could be so picky?! :D

Wait. I am going to have to actually take my boys shopping. I was hoping they would always just be content with me shopping for them!
