five on friday

1. i threw the biggest silent fit yesterday when i took my boys to an airsoft shop 

and they didn't hold the door for me. i let the door close on me, and 

just stood there outside in the cold until my youngest 

noticed and came and held the door open for me.

he appologized 682,971,002 times. 

he better. ;)

i told them in the "manly store" that from now on i was going to make scenes 

until holding the door for a lady is a habit. i'm raising gentlemen not pirates. 

the owner of the shop said to my boys. 

"you better get used to this it's only just beginning"

whatever dude. was my thought 

ladies deserve to be treated as such. OK!

hello i'm a californina gurl. dude is what we say always.

if i want my dad to really hear what i am saying it's
"DUDE DAD"
in a very serious low tone, with dad drawn out like daaad.
when i was in high school he tried to tell me his name wasn't dude.
now i think he has realized that, yeah it is.

my boys are dude, my nephews, my students, etc.
my sister-in-law and i even address each other as dude.

my mother-in-law
hates the word dude.
where she is from dude isn't a nice word.
i'd tell you to google it DON'T it's just gross.

3. i've been substituting all week. it is so moving singing worship songs in opening with 100 little ones.
i can hardly get through the songs with out letting a tear go.
i pray that they worship their whole lives.

4. hubs and i went on a date last night. so F.U.N. it has been a minute since our last date.

5. i really want to spend the weekend here reading, napping, or just lounging.

i could finish the hunger games. i started book 1 wednesday.
i'm a little scared and i feel like a bad mom because i let my son read it.
maybe it get's less scary as it goes on. i'm only on chapter 6.
