me & momma

my mom is on my heart this week. she has been in a tough situation since i was 15. i'm 31 now it's been a long time. she's a pleaser. i so wish she weren't, it pulls her in so many directions and watching her struggle  hurts my heart so bad.
i can never get her with her eyes open in a pic. LOL

i try to talk to her. i tell her to do what she wants to do so long as she keeps GOD  involved in the decision making she can't go wrong. RIGHT?! our family (her side) has completely fallen apart. we don't get together at all any more not even on holidays. it's sad. i feel like all of this could be so easily avoided if honesty was apart of certain members of the families lives.

my relationship with my mom in the last year has changed. i used to call her first thing every morning but, i have become her punching bag and i am tired. i'm so conflicted because i want to talk to her everyday and i don't call because i am afraid.
i realize this seriously jumbled but my feeling are all over the place.

my boys and i spent the afternoon with her today and it was good. but, that's another thing she hardly see's my boys because of the situation she's in. my oldest is 12 and growing rapidly before my eyes. he's turning into an amazing young man as is my 10 year old. i feel like she's missing out because the are truly incredible.

so without betraying her, can i ask you all to just pray for her that she will see that GOD is GOOD and will guide her in the right direction if she would just truly give him the reigns.

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Awww girlie. I have always been so close with my mom. We had a falling out once too... I prayed. A LOT. Things worked out. Keep trusting in God to restore this relationship. Pray for her heart to be touched by TRUTH. :o) What is her name? I will have you both in prayer.

Praying of course! Sounds like a very difficult situation. Sometimes family can just be hard, that's a fact. Keep looking up, things will work out.

Praying for her! I'm very familiar with family crumbling. Even when they've been close for soooo many years. I hope things work out!

praying for you. been there. am there again. with my mom i thought we'd finally made a breakthrough, & things were good for a while. i actually felt like i had a mom i could rely on. now it's kind of going backwards again & i'm afraid to go through it all over again. it hurts so much. so you will be very close to my heart, i will definitely be praying for & thinking about you & your mom. i wish you the best!

Praying for you and your mom.. Here is a quote from yesterday's "Streams in the Desert":

"Blessed is any weight, however overwhelming, which God has been so good as to fasten with His own hand upon our shoulders."
