my last day being 30

WOW time seriously does FLY when you are having fun!

since today is my last day being 30, i decided to write a list of my 30 favorite memories made while 30.

1. my husband threw me a huge surprise party for my birthday complete with karaoke
2. george(my oldest) played me happy birthday on his guitar
3. jimmy (my baby) read me a poem he wrote me in front of everyone. which is a big deal he quiet...
       "IN PUBLIC"
4. i didn't work for the first time in a LONG TIME
5. i enjoyed myself (too much and gained 17 Lbs) oh well... treadmill here i come!
6. got more involved with church.
7. hung out with my MEN a lot!
8. went on field trips with my boys
9. got to do a bible/book study with some of my besties
10. started my blog... who new it would be SO FUN!
11. made some special bloggy friends.
12. participated in a swap. FUN
13. got crafty
14. planned a sneak attack. see more on that here and here
15. got to be home
16. lived in the moment
17. read the scriptures more
18. enjoyed my yard
19. got a canary... his name is bliss, he sings all day. have you ever heard a canary sing? it's delightful!
20. the highlight of my days was playing taxi, and enjoying it. my boys are busy!
21. went to santa monica pier for the first time (what kind of californian am i?) and convinced my husband (who doesn't like height) to go on the ferris wheel with me.
22. threw a halloween party
23. did i mention i enjoyed myself? yes, yes i did.
24. got a vintage car see it here
25. got a vintage house... a 1950's bungalow... it's HEAVEN (so maybe we rent) it's all part of the plan.
26. went on a "DAY DATE" to the horse races see that here
27. saw a bobcat... i was gonna post about it but couldn't get a photo he dove into his burrow to quick.
28. spent a fun week a the beach with my sons and nephew.
29. loved on all of my family and friends.
30. i was happy for the first time in a long time or ever just being ME.

Dear 30,
you were a fantastic year. i will miss you. however i am so excited for what 31 has in store for me.
