sometimes.

sometimes you have to share silly songs with your children.  this.one.cracked.them.up. 

that song led to this song, then this song led to that song then this song and this one.

and

pretty soon i was reliving my freshman year of high school. 

the boys walked away from me after this one and i was left to reminisce on my own.

i was totally into the whole grunge thing. lacey shirts, cutoff or ripped jeans, doc martins, babydoll & maxi dresses patchouli incense, (did i just admit that?) hippe bags, birkenstocks, sort of like this, this, this, and this.

my mom would say, "i don't mind you expressing your self with these clothes, but when you go out with me you will wear an outfit of my liking." 

ha! 

i'm pretty sure i'd do the same thing if i was her.
