as you all probably know we are house hunting.
who knew it would be so hard.
but as hard as it is it's been really fun too.
my "normal" amount of day dreaming has amplified 1000x in the last few months.
it's been great. ha!
today, i woke up with a game room on my mind.
my boys are getting huge.
big isn't even sufficient anymore. just look.
i want our home to be the home where all kids want to hang out.
i feel like the best way (aside from my husband and i being totally awesome) is to create a
"teen" friendly space...
GAME ROOM
i already have the big ticket items.
pool table
leather couches
(if i put them in the game room...momma can get new ones.ha!)
an extra tv armoire
side tables
SO here's what i'm thinking for finishing touches.
this would be really cool with vintage soda bottles. i should start collecting bottles now.
martha always has the best ideas.
these would be fun to make with words like
COOL, SWAG, DUDE, BOOM, BANG, BING...umm. any more four letter word suggestions.
i really like this, but the dudes might think it's to juvenile.
this keeps it classy.
and last but not least i think it would be really fun to make this with smaller ones of the countries of our ancestors. we'd end up with 10 flags in all. it could be the a summer craft for the boys and i.
you can see my whole game room board here. it's a work in progress
that was fun.
now i just need the house.
this sweet friend left this comment the other day.
"He is faithful! and His plans are better than we could ever imagine. rest in that truth my friend!"
i am completely resting in that truth today.
happy dreaming... i mean monday.
