Emmanuel & Little Town

i'm not supper fond of light displays that go to the beat of music.
it's sort of weird and time consuming but whatever makes you happy right?!

but these two songs are a pair of my favorites. 

you can't play Emmanuel without Little Town following right after

it's the rule. 

all of that to say, this is the only video i could find that play the two songs one after the other. 

so watch if you want it's sort of cool, but you must listen.

 

this album came out in 1983 and i'm pretty sure that's the year my mom bought it. she played it non.stop.every.Christmas.season. 

in fact amy grant's Christmas records are the only ones she plays.

every time i hear these two songs i get so overwhelmed with memories of my childhood and the thought of who Christ is that my eyes well up with tears of remembrance, joy, and thankfulness and spill over.
