GTX

ever since my husband and i started dating, he has always talked about getting a muscle car and restoring it with his son(s) if he had any.
GOOD NEWS!!!
god gave us  2.

last summer he decided the boys we old enough to start on this adventure, and they started to actively look for a car to buy. this was so funny because they all had different cars in mind...

hubby wanted a nova
i wanted a mustang, thunderbird, fairlane, or a bel air ( you mean those aren't  muscle cars...oh yeah... no one asked me) BOO! it's all good it's their thing.
big man wanted a ......??? i'm not sure what he wanted. i should find out.
tiny man wanted a 64' impala (honey that's not a muscle car) this child is into rap. have i mentioned that before? YES, yes i think i have. GRRR!!

so after countless hours on craig's list, perusing the camera adds, news paper etc.
they took a break from looking.
:-(
school started again and we got busy, so there was no spilled milk. ;-)

in march my husband was talking about this with a co-worker, and his co-work told him that he had a muscle car more specifically a

1968 Plymouth GTX

so he rushed home from work and tells me. i had no idea what a GTX was. so my husband explains that the reason i don't is because
they.are.rare.
only 18,000 were made.

sooo... my big love took the boys to see it, and
they.fell.in.L.O.V.E.
&
bought it! it was a great deal!

hubz is so cute! when he went to the DMV to register it he decided to register it to he & boys.
BE.STILL.MY.HEART.
when the pink slip came he was giddy to show them their names on it. the boys were so excited!
 they said
"we are probably the only kids ages 10 & 12 to own our car legally in the history of forever"
maybe boys, just maybe! LOL
so
without further ado...
here's their new baby...(i'm told it's a girl, because all cars ARE girls.) cough*cough*

Happy Fathers Day

EVER!

you are the best husband a girl could ever ask for!
